Founded by Rustin Godfrey in 2002, he began the business as an independent agent. Originally situated in Springfield, Illinois, the agency has expanded and is now located off of Route 4 on the square in Chatham.

After obtaining a Bachelors of Science Degree from Purdue University, Rustin proves an extensive farm and agriculture background creates a perfect fit for the Crop Insurance Industry. He has a family history in the farming business and a relentless passion for providing the best service to his clients. Godfrey Insurance Agency is now one of the largest in the area of servicing crop insurance customers.

Rustin Godfrey

Rustin, the agency owner, started Godfrey Insurance Agency in 2002.  He began the Independent agency with Property, Casualty, Life, Health and Crop Insurance.  Born and raised in central Indiana, Rustin graduated from Purdue University in 1991 and then moved to Illinois after college.  He comes from an extensive farm and agriculture background and enjoys helping insureds find the best policy to fit their needs.

Lisa Godfrey

Lisa co-owner and wife of Rustin, handles the Marketing, Advertising and Bookkeeping for the agency. Together they share a daughter, Lauren, who spends a number of hours at the office herself. “Owning a business is truly a family affair that we thoroughly enjoy.”

Karyn Hadley

Karyn has been with Godfrey Insurance Agency since 2007. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and minored in Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. A lifelong resident of Springfield, IL, she now resides in Pleasant Plains with her husband and children. Karyn specializes in Multi Peril Federal Crop Insurance and Private Products Wind and Hail Insurance.

Lisa Fink

Lisa grew up in a small farming community in central Illinois. Lisa and her husband, Lindsey, have three grown sons, Brock, Seth and Chance. She has worked in the insurance field for several years, specializing in crop insurance since 2001. She enjoys helping customers protect their farming operations and risks.
